My thoughts: 

Bone Crossed is the 4th book in the Mercedes Thompson series and another fantastic book from Patricia Briggs. I feel like I’m visiting old friends whenever I open a book from the Mercedes Thompson series. This is without a doubt one of my most favorite series.

Mercedes also known as Mercy is a mechanic who has the ability to turn into a coyote. Her boss is a faery, her neighbor and roommate are werewolves, and one of her friends is a vampire. This series contains a smorgasbord of preternatural characters.

I love the way this novel panned out. After the dramatic ending to Iron Kissed I was worried what effects it would have on Mercy and her already complicated relationship with Adam.  It was nice to see a more vulnerable side to the usual kick ass Mercy and wow Adam is so sweet and caring. I can’t wait for the next installment in this series.
