I can't think of a cheaper vacation to take. These are just a few of my favorite books set in countries other than my own.

  1. I've read - and loved - Anna. I still need to read Salt to the Sea and My Lady Jane. I love books set outside the U.S., though I need to find more books that aren't just in Europe either. LOL

  7. The Bear and the Nightingale would absolutely be on my list, too! Such a good book, and it really does transport you to another world.
    I have Salt to the Sea on my shelves, I really need to finally read it!
