I
love food – cooking it as much as eating it. Over the years I’ve made
quite a few desserts for my husband and I to try. Here are a few of my
favorite ones to
whip up.
Chocolate Fondue with fruit.
There’s nothing better than talking with
your loved one as you dip, swirl and lick chocolate off pieces of fresh
fruit. If you do the prep together, it gives you more time to not only
spend as a couple, but have fun in the kitchen together.
Home-made Truffles. I did up a
batch of these
for
Valentine’s Day this year. They were surprisingly easy to make and a
big hit with my hubby. And yes, there might have been finger licking
when they were done.
Ice Cream.
Yes,
I know, not very exciting. However, if you’re sharing your ice cream
with your loved one, you have to sit a whole lot closer. At that
distance, lots of long looks (and
longer licks) can become quite the temptation.
Chocolate covered strawberries/cherries/blueberries/etc. This is a classic
for a reason. Bring a plate covered with this delicious treats to a more comfortable location and see how much fun you can have. Simple to make and a treat to enjoy.
Raspberry Parfaits. The layers! The
cream! Only use one spoon and you’re bound to have fun playing around
with this dessert. If you’re not a fan of raspberries, you can switch
this out for anything.
